United States Army 16th Cavalry Regiment Unit Crest (Strike Hard)

Criteria: These distinctive unit insignia (DUI) are worn by the 16th Cavalry Regiment. Strike Hard is their motto. Originally approved for wear in 1958. For two years starting in 1968 they were also worn by the 16th Armor. Unit crests are worn on the Army Service Uniform (ASU) and Army Class A Uniform (Greens).
