This is the Unit Crest of the United States Army 121st Infantry Regiment. Formed in 1916, the 121st Infantry Regiment was created by the Georgia National Guard. The Unit Crest comes from the nickname "The Gray Bonnets", which was taken from the song,"Put on Your Old Gray Bonnets". The 121st Infantry Regiment saw combat service in the First and Second World Wars. Unit Crests are also known as Distinctive Unit Insignia, and are created from the coat of arms for each unit.
Unit Crests are sold in pairs, so with each order you will receive two crests.
