United States Army 228th Support Battalion Unit Crest (Where Others Leave Off)

Criteria: These distinctive unit insignia (DUI) are worn by the 228th Support Battalion. Their motto is Where Others Leave Off. The 228th Support Battalion is part of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. Most of the symbolism refers the Korean War and represents the Meritorious Unit Commendation and the two Republic Of Korea Presidential Unit Citations awarded to the unit. This DUI was originally approved for the 228th Supply and Transport it was redesignated in 1992 for the 228th Support Battalion. Unit crests are worn on the Army Class A Service Green and Army Service Uniform (ASU).
