United States Army MultiCam (OEF-CP) Pants / Trousers
Sewn to military specifications with Near Infrared (NIR) Technology, the Multicam (OEF-CP) Pants/Trousers are built for comfort and ease of function. They feature bellowed calf storage pockets and an anterior tilted cargo pocket for secure accessibility, while cuffed legs with front closure ties make for quick and easy cinching around the boot collar. Knee pouches with hook-and-loop closures allow internal knee pad supports to be inserted comfortably. Trousers have a button fly with drawstring waist and are built from vat-dyed, 50% nylon / 50% cotton ripstop, no-shrink fabric.
Note: This garment is not flame retardant (FR).
Special OCP/Scorpion Note:
On June 1, 2015, the U.S. Army announced the release of the new Operational Camouflage Pattern in Soldier uniforms. This "OCP" pattern, also known as "Scorpion" is nearly identical to the "Operation Enduring Freedom Camouflage Pattern" which is otherwise referred to as the "Multicam" pattern. The Army has been using the Multicam pattern for years for Soldiers deployed to Afghanistan. For this reason, and because the two different patterns are nearly indistinguishable to the human eye, the Army simultaneously authorized all Soldiers to "mix-and-match" the two uniforms during the transition period. As such, both the OCP/Scorpion pattern and the Multicam pattern may be worn with each other between July 1, 2015 and October 1, 2019
. USAMM currently sells the Operation Enduring Freedom Camouflage Pattern / Multicam pattern for its garrison uniform apparel items, pictured here. We do, however, carry many unit, rank, and skill patches in the current OCP/Scorpion and are bringing more on line every day. Please check the appropriate product listings for the specific products that you are looking in determining if there has been a release in the new pattern. As this transition is made, we will be replacing our entire Army garrison uniform inventory with the current OCP/Scorpion for all products, just as soon as production makes them available. In the meantime, USAMM's product listing will be in accordance with the Army's mix-and-match policy until 2019.
